Conservative commentator Ann Coulter has divulged the backstory behind photographs of her signing a young man’s T-shirt with a provocative message.
Coulter responded on Tuesday to a Twitter fan account reposting the still images, which were taken from the 2004 documentary about her, “Is It True What They Say About Ann?”
It was a liberal, who thought I wouldn't give him an autograph. https://t.co/iBi4SdepFB

The footage shows Coulter scrawling, “Have fun in Guantanamo” on the unidentified young man’s T-shirt after her October 2003 lecture at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore.
- “I guess I’m an America-hating liberal like 75% of the people who attended this lecture,” the student says in the documentary.
