Following the latest unflattering news out of Kamala Harris’ office, one aide tweeted a photo Sunday demonstrating his “love” of working for the vice president.
David Gins, the deputy director for operations, appeared hard at work in the Naval Observatory under a photo of Harris and second gentlemen Douglas Emhoff.
Hi. My name is David Gins. I work for Vice President Harris on behalf of the American people as Deputy Director for Operations and absolutely love my job.
Just thought some of you should know 😀 pic.twitter.com/VPuYv9bpbp

“I … absolutely love my job,” Gins wrote in the tweet. ” Just thought some of you should know.”
Gins’ declaration of love came as four key Harris aides are quitting, including her chief spokesperson and senior adviser Symone Sanders.
- “[E]ven more are eyeing the exits,” Politico reported Saturday. “The shakeup among Harris’ staff has led to speculation about how she and her top aides have managed the office, as well as her own capacity as a boss.”
- Harris’ defenders said she is succeeding in a difficult job despite the racism and sexism she faces as the first black or female veep.
- But former aides, echoing previous leakers, anonymously told the Washington Post Harris was an unprepared and abusive boss, with one calling her an insecure “bully.”

That’s Kamala Harris pretending to drive an all-electric bus, then honking the horn.
“The wheels on the bus go ‘round and ‘round,” Harris said, letting out a big laugh as Pete Buttigieg looks on. pic.twitter.com/gGNw7pQvNM
