Who’s Having a Good/Bad Day on Twitter
Our main characters on Twitter Tuesday were Ron DeSantis and Amir Attaran.
HAVING A GOOD ONE
DESANTIS: The Florida governor throughly dismantled President Biden’s criticism of him (for rejecting COVID-19 vaccines for infants and toddlers) in an apparently impromptu performance that showed why DeSantis is having a moment.

HAVING A BAD ONE
ATTARAN: The progressive American-Canadian academic was widely mocked for having a Twitter meltdown over a United Airlines stewardess not wearing a mask on his Ottawa-Chicago flight. Highlights included: “Canada is not the USA, you f*ckers,” “FOLLOW THE LAW!,” “Our country, our rules” and, in response to his critics, “if you Republican Reptiles dislike Canada’s COVID safety laws, you’ll TOTALLY HATE our gun safety laws — if you’re not already shot and dead.”
This is the best of all COVID meltdowns, with anti-American Canadian pride thrown in as a bonus. https://t.co/xMt72KuckZ
