Vice President Kamala Harris, in an address Monday at the Vandenberg Space Force Base in California, used soaring rhetoric to describe the wonders of space.
WHAT SHE SAID
“Space is exciting. It spurs our imaginations, and it forces us to ask big questions,” Harris informed her audience of more than 200 members of the Space Force and Air Force, all grown adults.

“Space, it affects us all,” added Harris, who chairs the National Space Council. “And it connects us all.”
- Harris also announced a self-imposed ban on a type of anti-missile test as part of the Biden administration’s strategy to promote responsible use of space.
As noted by many Twitter commentators, Harris’ attempts at motivational speaking about space and other issues having repeatedly crash landed.
