Who’s Having a Good/Bad Day on Twitter
Our main characters on Twitter over the weekend were “Joel and Lynne” and Nikki Fried.
HAVING A GOOD ONE
JOEL AND LYNNE: The residents of Austin, Texas, were among the 50 proud American firearms owners whose 2021 portraits were resurfaced by gun-control advocates — but then widely celebrated by the Second Amendment crowd.

HAVING A BAD ONE
FRIED: The Florida agriculture commissioner and Democratic gubernatorial candidate was mocked after gun-control activist David Hogg seemingly bullied her into signing a pledge to ban “assault weapons.”
Putting aside that I think Nikki Fried would make a terrible Governor, acting so desperate that you’re willing to immediately change your position because David Hogg tweeted at you is just bad politics because it signals voters can’t trust you to stick by what you say. https://t.co/wuqSgbi3P4
