Teen climate icon Greta Thunberg belittled U.S. Democrats’ plans to fight global warming in a speech Tuesday at a youth climate gathering.
“This is not about some expensive, politically correct dream at the bunny hugging or blah, blah, blah. Build back better, blah, blah, blah. Green economy, blah, blah, blah,” Thunberg said at the Youth4Climate forum in Milan, apparently dismissing the Green New Deal and President Joe Biden’s trademark economic plan as empty rhetoric.

In keeping with her brand, Thunberg used the emotional address to condemn various world leaders for failing to meet her expectations regarding reducing atmosphere carbon emissions.
- Thunberg and other youth campaigners will later this week propose climate solutions to dozens of ministers gathering in Milan ahead of the United Nations’ COP26 climate conference.
