Vice President Kamala Harris “went off script a little bit” Monday during a White House event marking the end of Black History Month.
Harris touted President Joe Biden’s recent nomination to the Supreme Court of Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson, a black woman, as an instance of their administration delivering for its voters.

“Because as we all know, elections matter,” Harris said. “When folks vote, they order what they want. And in this case, they got what they asked for.”

According to a Yahoo News/YouGov poll released last week, 61% of Americans do not think Biden has delivered on his promises.
