After his recent high-profile failure at LGBT inclusion, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau redeemed himself this week by tweeting a stunning 11-character version of the community’s initialism.
“People across the country are lighting candles to honour Indigenous women, girls, and 2SLGBTQQIA+ people who are missing or have been murdered,” Trudeau tweeted Monday along with a photo of a candle on his front porch. “We must continue to work together, raise awareness, and advocate to end this ongoing national tragedy.”

Trudeau, a global woke icon, posted the tweet in recognition of Sisters in Spirit Day, a Canada-wide vigil held every Oct. 4 in honor of missing and murdered Indigenous women.
But conservative Twitter users had a hard time taking the premier’s observance of the holiday seriously as they were distracted by his reference to the “2SLGBTQQIA+” community.
Trudeau had trouble correctly pronouncing the ever-expanding LGBT initialism in a September stump speech that quickly went viral.
