If you thought Dr. Anthony Fauci, America’s top infectious disease expert, might be embarrassed by his cult of personality, think again.
Fox News host Tucker Carlson pointed out on-air Wednesday that Fauci’s bookshelf is adorned with prayer candles featuring his saintly likeness.

Zooming in on footage from one of Fauci’s countless recent TV interviews about the public health threat of COVID-19, Carlson mocked the doctor for allegedly buying into “Washington’s new religion: Fauci-ism.”
- “There are Tony Fauci prayer candles, prominently displayed inside Tony Fauci’s home,” Carlson said on “Tucker Carlson Tonight.” “Toni Fauci isn’t just the high priest of Fauci-ism. He’s also a true believer himself.”
- Recalling Fauci’s recent hesitance to allow Americans to gather for Christmas this year due to the pandemic, Carlson quipped, “What a thrill it must have been for him to say something like that. Here’s a guy who fully expected to spend his life giving prostate exams, and there he was declaring the ancient Christian calendar null and void. Pretty amazing.”
IF YOU’RE IN THE MARKET
The “Saint Anthony Fauci” prayer candle is on offer from various online merchants at a price point of about $15.
