Peggy Brewington, a math tutor, flipped the bird to police while she was being booked Aug. 27 in Jackson, Tennessee, requiring the mugshot to be censored before release.
Brewington was arrested on a trespassing charge following a month-long investigation, according to authorities.
- She reportedly told investigators they would find “maybe an ounce” of cannabis on her farm.
- Instead, they discovered about 40 plants and 20 pounds of pot.
BUZZKILL
While there is a growing movement for national cannabis legalization, the drug remains illegal under federal law and the codes of Tennessee and 13 other states.
