FROM THE MAILBAG
Charles wrote to us that gun control is “using both hands” and argued that New York’s possibly unconstitutional firearms regulations only serve to disarm “law abiding folk.”
- Arnold similarly defined gun control as “aiming at what you are planning to shoot, with great accuracy,” adding, “If there is anyone who thinks we should not be armed, I will be very pleased to place signs on their front yard to notify any thief that folks in their house do not believe in owning a firearm.”
- Deryl wrote that he would be willing to tolerate one infringement on his Second Amendment rights: “As a private citizen, I should not be able to own and operate nuclear weapons on American soil. … The use of nukes in America would really screw up property values.”
