The men quoted in the article — headlined “Men across America are getting vasectomies ‘as an act of love’” — said they got vasectomies in response to a Texas law that recently banned most abortions in the state.
- Meanwhile, Florida urologist Doug Stein, a pro-vasectomy activist, has founded “World Vasectomy Day” and “Responsible Men’s Clubs” to encourage men to discuss their self-inflicted sterility.
